Hartlepool United and Coventry City supporters are waiting to hear if Kevin Kyle will return to Coventry after the North East's side's game at Leyton Orient or he will be allowed to stay until January.

The Scot has scored three times during his loan spell, but with the Sky Blues paying the majority of his £10k a week wages, it is Ray Ranson's shout as to what happens to the striker who is out of contract in June.

"In an ideal world we'd like to keep him another two months, and Kevin would like to stay," Danny Wilson told BBC Radio Tees. "We've put a phone call in to Coventry and it's a waiting game at the moment."
