Coventry City midfielder Aron Gunnarsson has said that City supporters think he is one of the players who will be leaving the club in January after his manager Chris Coleman made comments stating that "some fans favourites" could be allowed to leave.

Speaking to the CT, The Icelander said: "I have read the paper and the forums and have head about what the manager and supporters are saying.

"They were talking about the gaffer saying about selling the fans favourite and they thought it was me but I haven't heard anything.

"In football, you are the fans favourite one day and the next day you are not, because your body language is not good at the beginning of the season.

"I read the forums to see what people are saying. I can take it if they are saying something bad about me because that is part of football and the fans are what they are and they have got things to say which you have to take in even if it is bad.

"I will try to make positive things out of it and try to make the things they are saying better and hopefully I can. "That's why I am reading it - not to slag them off or say something bad about the fans. I read it to try and make my game better.

"Fans always have things to say because they pay our wages but I would rather use it to make myself better and show them that I appreciate what they do for me."
