City have been lined with a move for Ian Evatt. The Coventry born defender is currently at Chesterfield after moving to the Spireites from Derby. The centre half whose father Ian is a legend at Coventry Marconi FC is also being tracked by Leicester City.

Former City physio Neil Sillett has been appointed manager of Farnborough Town. The son of former City boss John takes over from Dean Ashton who was sacked earlier in the week.
