Coventry City supporter Dale Evans, who has expressed an intent if possible, to buy the Sky Blues, was at the Ricoh Arena yesterday.
Despite the club issuing a press release, rejecting his claims and slating the BBC CWR for letting him on their programme on Friday night, Evans met former City Chairman Joe Elliott amongst others at yesterday's game against Colchester United.
Evans has made his money by winning at poker but if he or any else is going to be successful in taking over the club, they are going to have to get over the massive hurdle of the club being purely an item on a balance sheet against which tax can be offset, which many feel is unlikely to happen in the current climate, unless the bid is one of such a magnitude that the owners cannot turn it down..
