Eusebio RIP

One of the world's great footballing talent's Eusebio has died.

Eusébio da Silva Ferreira was a Mozambique born Portuguese football forward, scored 317 goals in 301 games for Benfica in fifteen years.

Older Coventry City supporters will remember that on March 28th 1973, Eusebio, who won the European Player of The Year And Golden Boot, played at Coventry City's Highfield Road ground in a World Cup qualifier against Northern Ireland, who had to move the game due to the troubles in the Province and scored in the 1-1 draw.

Eusebio died this morning aged 71.
