The Coventry City Former Players Association have just been informed that the re-arranged date for the Memorial Service/Celebration for the late Sky Blues legend Ernie Machin will be on Monday 1st October 2012 commencing at 3pm.
The memorial will take place as originally planned in the inspiring surroundings of Coventry Cathedral. All Ernie’s friends and fans are welcome.
The Memorial was moved from Wednesday 26th September to accommodate fans wishing to go to CCFC’s Capital One Cup tie with Arsenal at the Emirates in London the same evening.
