Eric Black Gets Wigan Job

Former Coventry City manager Eric Black has been named as the new Wigan Athletic first team coach.

Black had been working with Steve Bruce, after he was disgracefully dismissed by Mike McGinnity so he could bring in Peter Reid in a move which proved disasterous and short lived, and had been assistant manager at Wigan from 2007-2009.

Black will work under Uwe Rossler and along side a former Wigan player in Graham Barrow who will become Rossler's new assistant.
