The English Football League are looking for a new sponsor for the Checkatrade Trophy (EFL Trophy).
The deal with current sponsors Checkatrade for the trophy won by Coventry City in April 2017, thanks to a 2-1 Wembley win over Oxford United, will cease at the end of this season.
The League have said: The future of the competition is secure, with an agreement in principle in place with EFL Clubs that will see the competition continue in its current format for a further three seasons, subject to an acceptable level of funding being in place.
"The EFL will now engage the market to secure a new partner."
