The 36 year old Tyne and Wear based official, who works in the building industry, came through the Northern Alliance and Northern League and has taken charge of a Coventry City Ladies game before he was appointed to the Football League list in 2002.
Mr Ilderton has had 11 matches so far this season, booking 26 with no red cards. His last match was Burton's 2-0 win over Barnet on October 17th and his last City match was the 1-1 draw at Derby in April 2007.
