Coventry City striker, Freddy Eastwood, who scored a total of four goals last season, has been speaking about his confidence after he scored his fifth goal for the Sky Blues this season when he got the winning goal at Plymouth on Saturday.

Eastwood told Mirror Football, "My confidence is up after getting a hat-trick and then scoring in the second game on the trot after starting again up front. I've been playing all over, like on the right wing, and if I had been playing up front every week I might have been scoring more."

"Confidence is the main thing as a striker and you see it in my game that I'm a bit sharper now I've been scoring. I've got a smile on my face now I'm scoring again, whereas a while ago I was wondering where the next goal was coming from.

"I've got five already this season which is more than the four goals I got in total last season. I'm not setting any targets for how many I can score, but it is already looking better than last season. Christmas will be a big period for us. If we can continue to move up from the bottom of the table we will see where we are after Christmas.

"After two wins under our belt we are moving up the table in the right direction."
