Freddy Eastwood played all 90 minutes in a behind closed doors friendly at Nottingham Forest yesterday.
Although City lost 3-0 the workout proved Eastwood has recovered from an operation to repair a damaged knee.
Boothroyd used the game as an opportunity to test the recovery of other injured Coventry Players. Chris Hussey (Pictured below) and James McPake also played the full 90 minutes and all three payers are in contention for a place in the side that face Leeds at The Ricoh on Saturday.
One player who did not play was Marlon King. Boothroyd is being careful with his recovery and will not risk aggravating a leg injury in friendlies, but said that King will feature in the game on Saturday.
Boothroyd explained, "Marlon is going to have a good couple of weeks training before we start thinking about playing him from the start in games but he will definitely be involved against Leeds on Saturday."
