Coventry City striker Freddy Eastwood has turned down a loan move to  League 2 club Plymouth Argyle.

Argyle have just been taken over by James Brent and are now out of administration and are in the process of rebuilding their squad. The Pilgrims are now managed by player- manager Carl Fletcher, a former wales team mate of Eastwood, but he was unable to persuade the out of favour striker to move to the south west.

Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has told Eastwood he is free to leave the club after  repeatedly failing to regain his fitness.
