Eastwood A Substitute In Southend Play-Off Defeat

Freddy Eastwood who is on loan from Coventry City, started from the bench for Southend United's League 2 Play-Off Semi-Final 1st leg defeat at Crewe Alexandra.

Former City young keeper Cameron Belford who is on loan for Bury was in goal for the Shrimpers against a Crewe side which went into the game on the back of a sixteen game unbeaten run.

Belford made some good saves before he was picking the ball out of the net in the 49th minute when Adam Dugdale scored in front of a crowd of 7,221 to give Crewe a one goal lead to take into the second leg

Eastwood came on the 73rd minute when he replaced Neil Harris but failed to find the net.
