Coventry City hope to have Clive Platt and Gary Deegan back for the pre-season game on Wednesday night at Leamington FC.
The Sky Blues have arranged an extra pre-season game and Andy Thorn has said that Clive Platt, Gary Deegan and possibly Jordan Clarke could play.
Ben Turner will definitely miss the game. The centre half is, according to the CT, 'still not ready to play nine months after a knee ligament injury' and City manager Andy Thorn said: "Ben's not ready yet but we are looking at giving Platty and Deegs a game against Leamington on Wednesday and possibly Clarkey as well.
City will field a side of players who don't get ninety minutes football at Chesterfield on Tuesday night.
