Duffy To Start

Richard Duffy will start for Wales tomorrow night in their friendly with Liechtenstein. The Swansea City supporting defender currently on loan at City was named in the starting eleven along side former Sky Blue Craig Bellamy.

Stern John and Chris Birchall are expected to appear for Trindidad & Tobago in a friendly in Austria. The pair had been part of those threatening a strike but the TTFF has promised cash which the players have accepted.

Magnus Hedman has been given a contract until the end of the season by Chelsea and former City defender Richard Shaw who played many a game with Hedman, played the whole game for Millwall tonight in a 2-1 FA Cup win over Havant & Waterlooville at Portsmouth FC. Craig Pead was sent off playing for Walsall in an FA Cup tie at Macclesfield.
Coventry Sphinx's youth team won 3-2 aet at Nuneaton Borough in a Birmingham County Midweek Floodlit Youth Cup tie. Callum Woodward scored twice with Richard Davies also on the mark.

Former City Reserve team keeper Jonny Tuffey is in Northern Ireland's U21 squad to play Germany in Leipzig.
