Richard Duffy who is expected to play for Wales tonight against Azerbaijan has concerns over his future at Portsmouth. The defender who is on a season long loan with the Sky Blues has not heard anything from the Portsmouth manager and has no idea as to what will happen when the loan ends.

"I've not had any contact from Portsmouth, not a word," said the 20 year old who is highly rated by Sky Blues boss Micky Adams.

"It is obvious that the manager there doesn't fancy me as a player at the moment, but if they want me to go back next season I will take it from there.
"Hopefully they have been watching my performances but it is up to them to see what they think of them.

He added: "I'm on loan for the whole season so I don't think I have a recall clause. But it has been good at Coventry, particularly as I am playing in the same side as my Welsh squad colleague Robert Page, and I am learning a lot from him.

"I am playing every week now for Coventry, which is better than reserve team football and I am getting experience every week."

Meanwhile, another loanee Wilo Flood played for the Republic Of Ireland U21's in their 1-0 home defeat to Switzerland.
