Dion Dublin has said that there is not a reason why fans should pay to watch Coventry City at the moment.
Dublin told the Coventry Telegraph: “The club today doesn’t compare to the club that I was at. The division they’re in and the attendances.
“Fans are just getting distanced by ploughing money into the football club and getting nothing back.
“When I was there we had big name players. We had at least two world class players in Gordon Strachan and Gary McAllister.
“We were playing against Tottenham, Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool. We didn’t win anything, but we gave the fans value for money.
“Can anyone can give me a reason at the moment why fans should pay to watch Coventry City? There isn’t one.
“That comes down to the owners, they should give the fans their football club back.”
