Drop Below Our Standard And You Won't Play - Thorn

Coventry City's caretaker Andy Thorn has said that every player on the club books is part of the squad and those who don't meet the standard will be out of the team.

Speaking to the CT, Thorn, who brought Michael Mcindoe back into the eighteen for the trip to Burnley said: "From my point of view, we are all in this together and we have got to look after each other.

"I am big enough and ugly enough not to be throwing toys out of prams and every player is brought to the club to play for the club, so every player will be involved.

"If they are in form they will play, it is as simple as that.

"We certainly won't be picking people on reputations and that's not aimed at any individuals in our squad but we set standards on Tuesday night and if we drop below them, then people won't play."
