Coventry City winger David Bell has been given a 28 day driving ban.

Bell was banned by magistrates in Kings Lynn after being caught doing 114mph on the A47 in Norfolk on November 2nd.

He was fined £650 and ordered to pay £50 costs.

Bell was trying to get home as quickly as possible to see his son when he was caught and said after the case: "It could have been a six month ban - but they looked at my situation and knew I pleaded guilty at the first instance.

"A ban is understandable. I'll probably get my dad to take me to training now."
