Stevenage and Southend United drew 1-1 tonight at the Lamex Stadium.
In a game which was delayed for eight minutes in the first half due to a nasty clash of heads between Southend's Michael Timlin and Stevenage's Bira Dembele, Stevenage took the lead in the 51st minute with a 25 yarder from Dean Parrett.
Nine minutes later, Barry Corr equalised to set up an entertaining second leg at Roots Hall.
