Doyler On Goal

Coventry City midfielder Michael Doyle has been speaking about his first goal since March 2005 Doyler who netted in City's win against Colchester told Sky Blue World: "I suppose there was a bit of relief there. It's been building up for quite a while.

"I haven't been getting many chances but since the start of the season the manager has been looking for people to score goals from midfield because we hadn't really been doing enough of it since Dennis Wise left.

The manager was giving me a bit of stick and rightly so because I just couldn't seem to find the back of the net. "I was delighted when Stern picked me out - he made it easy for me so there was a lot of relief there."
