Michael Doyle has said that he wants to help Coventry City get the same success as Portsmouth have had this season.

Doyle, who will officially become a City player on July 1st after not being offered new terms at Portsmouth, told Billie Marshall: "My time at Portsmouth was brilliant, I had two great years down there. To go and finish it off and win the league this year was why I joined the club in the first place. Hopefully we can replicate those results next year.

"I've come here because I want that kind of success with Coventry City, this was the club that gave me my first chance when I left Celtic and I had some great times here.

"It's a brilliant club that has had some tough times, it is about driving the club forward now and let's try and get it back up through the divisions. There are going to be highs and lows next season, but we'll have a squad capable of challenging."
