Coventry City will face a trip to the KC Stadium next season after Iain Dowie's Hull City were relegated following a 2-2 draw at Wigan Athletic this afternoon.

Hull had gone into the match needing victories in their last two games, plus at least twenty goals and looked to be getting their first away league win since March 2009 until Wigan equalised in the third minute of stoppage time.

Former City keeper Andy Marshall played for Aston Villa Reserves in the FA Premier Reserve League Play Off Final against Manchester United at Old Trafford. The match finished in a 3-3 draw and went to a penalty shoot-out which United won 3-2 with Coventry kid James Collins missing the decisive kick.
