Don't Believe The Papers - Robinson

Geoffrey Robinson has hit back at claims that his bid to take control of the Sky Blues has been deemed unacceptable.

Speaking on his way into Loftus Road last night before City's 2-1 victory against Queens Park Rangers, the MP and former Acting Chairman was asked if it was true that his bid was unacceptable and replied: "Don't believe what you read in the papers."

Rumours abound that Mr Robinson, who is the major share holder in Coventry City (Holdings) Ltd, favours putting the club into administration and then buying the club back on the cheap whilst Ranson's favours not doing anything to harm the progress on the pitch currently being made by the Sky Blues and working with the bank and creditors to pay off outstanding debts.
