Doncaster Want Shearer

Doncaster Rovers have made a bid to sign Scott Shearer. They had watched the Scot in action for City Reserves before agreeing terms with the Sky Blues. However, the move now depends on whether Shearer and his advisors will accept the Belle Vue based club terms.

Meanwhile,City have been linked with a move for Sheffield United's Danny Cullip. The defender signed by Micky Adams for Fulham,Brentford and Brighton was left out of The Blades trip to Cyprus and is likely to be off-loaded before tomorrow's transfer deadline. Watford are also reported to be interested. If Cullip does leave, Neil Warnock could plump for former Sky Blue Christian Neqouai.
