Coventry City goalkeeper Dimi Konstantopolous is to have a meeting with Chris Coleman about his Sky Blue future.

The Greek keeper was loaned out to Swansea and Cardiff last season and it will take a meeting with the Sky Blues boss to see if he is willing to play second fiddle to Keiren Westwood.

Dimi is due back for training with City when they return on July 1st and told the CT: "There has been a lot of talk about Hartlepool but that's not going to happen because they could only take me on loan and that was not the best deal for Coventry. "But I would like to stay in the Championship.

"I didn't have a pre-season last year because I was still recovering from a ruptured Achilles and then went on to play a few games out on loan And I know that with a good pre-season things will be different.

"At this moment, I am looking forward to coming back to Coventry for pre-season training next week and I will take it from there, but I know things can change very quickly.

"I will have a chat with the manager and he knows that I want and need to play games so it all depends on what he says, so a few things need to be sorted out.

"In an ideal world I would stay at Coventry and fight for my place but I cannot hide the fact that Keiren did very well last season and is the manager's first choice, so it is difficult. But everything else is in place. I have my house in Leamington and my wife is settled here.

"I believe in my ability and I have to assess everything and make up my mind. There will be options and possibilities for me and I have to be somewhere where I can play."
