City U18 and Reserve teamer Dale Jones has left Coventry City. The Coventry born defender who came through the Academy had a good season and was offered a three month contract by Iain Dowie for next season. Jones has rejected this offer and has other clubs interested including one Premiership club.

Colin Cameron whose contract will not be renewed by City has been lined up with moves to Walsall and Kilmarnock. The Scot had also been linked with a move to Dundee United but Tannadice boss Craig Levein said: "That one is news to me, although we could do with him if it was for tomorrow because of the injuries we've got. "Seriously though, midfield is one part of the team we're usually well covered for and I've not even been looking to bring people in for there."

Former City Player Manager Terry Butcher is not the only former player to be appointed as a manager this week Whilst Butcher will take over at Brentford on May 7th, Paul Cook was in charge of Sligo Rovers for their 1-1 draw with Waterford last night. Cook played in midfield for City and had been involved with Accrington Stanley before managing Southport.
