Some websites are reporting that Coventry City are close to agreeing a £700,000 deal for Queens Park Rangers defender Damion Delaney.

The Cork born defender has played for Leicester City, Stockport, Huddersfield and Mansfield before moving to Hull City where he made 235 starts and scored five goals.

He made his Queens Park Rangers debut in January 2008 and has made 57 appearances plus two substitute and has scored three goals.

Reports say the deal could happen next week when new QPR boss Jim Magilton returns from a course.
