International defeat for Jorgensen
Claus Jorgensen was in the Faroe Islands side which went down to a 3-1 World Cup Qualifying home defeat to Switzerland in Toftir. The Faroes trailed to a 23rd minute goal from Wicky before Rogvi Jacobsen equalised with twenty minutes left. However, a brace from Frei in the 73rd and 86th minute ensured a victory for the Swiss.

Elsewhere,Scotland fielded former Sky Blue Stephen Pressley in a side which beat Moldova 2-0 thanks to goals from Christian Dailly and James McFadden.
With England,Wales and Northern Ireland not in international action,Poland went to the top of Group 6 with a 3-0 win in Azerbaijan. Frankowski (28), Tomasz Klos (57) and Zurawski (79 mins) got the goals.
