Defeat At Oldham Equals Poor Run Of 2012

Last updated : 12 February 2017 By CNS Sport

Coventry City equalled the run of fourteen games without a win from 2012 which saw City relegated from the Championship and then go without a win in eight matches in League One with yesterday's 3-2 defeat at Oldham Athletic.

Defeat at AFC Wimbledon on Tuesday night would see that very unwanted record extended,

A defeat on Tuesday night would also mean that Russell Slade would have gone nine league games without a win, equalling the worst start for a Coventry City manager set by Noel Cantwell in 1967.

If Coventry City are relegated to League 2, it will mean that the Sky Blues will be the first club to play in every league - no matter what it is call Div 1, 2, 3, 4, Premier League, League 1 (Before it became The Championship) The Championship. League 1, League 2, Div 3 South and  Div 3 North.
