Coventry City Chairman Tim Fisher and those involved in the 'new stadium' have been told by Rugby Borough Council that they need to get their planning permission in by December.
City are looking at green fields sites in the CV23 area and according to the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert, a spokesman for Rugby Borough Council said: “Consultation on the local plan has been pushed back until December.
“We can confirm we have had no contact from the football club as yet.”
Tim Fisher was not able to comment due to the ''plans being at a sensitive stage'.
