Coventry City's debt has risen to £34m according to Paul Fletcher.

The City MD was speaking to Bob Brolley on BBC C&W and admitted that the club are losing £90,000 a week and need more supporters than can fill the Ricoh Arena to break even.

Mr Fletcher blamed the decision to sell the share of ACL profits to the Alan Higgs Trust as a reason why City are now a loss making company.

He also stated that the takoever is still on-going and that one of the parties has 'family problems' which has helped to hold up the highly complicated process and reiterated that there will be no money for Iain Dowie to spend on players before the August transfer window closes.
