Dawning Of A New Era

With only 37 on the official coach and only 150 tickets sold the mad, the sad and the sky blue faithful turned out to witness the dawning of a new era.

Burnley had 7 turnstiles open and were obviously expecting a few more!

Outside if you've watched Hard Away Days, Burnleys number 1 fan Rocky sold 50:50 tickets. The blokes a living legend decked out in Burnley colours and was convinced Burnley would win.

In the stadium it was good to see Danny Fox in Burnleys starting 11. Why is he not playing for us?

My pre match chant of one Aidy B... failed to spark a reaction.
A minutes silence was held at the start as a respect to Aidy either that or the SBA didn't feel like singing.

You do have to question why you do it but a quick read of a book in the Burnley Club Shop titled "You've Got To Be There" by a Burnley fan perhaps explained why. When I asked my mate next to me he said it's "habit, drugs, ... I don't know"...and then asked, "what time for Preston?"
About 11...
