Preston North End have lost their appeal over the dismissal of Kevin Davies during the 1-1 draw against Coventry City.
The Lillywhites appealed against the ban of Davies who was red carded for a foul on Andy Webster, but the FA ignored their pleas and the three game ban which starts with Preston's FA Cup tie this weekend stands.
