David Cameron: I Know How Much People Care About Coventry City

Prime Minster David Cameron has said that he knows how much people care about Coventry City.

The Aston Villa supporting Prime Minister was in Nuneaton to support local Conservative MP Marcus Jones who standing in this week's General Election,

“We have to be careful not to get too involved in these decisions," The Prime Minister David Cameron told the Coventry Telegraph's Ben Dimmer about City and Wasps at the Ricoh Arena.

“What I want to see is successful professional rugby and successful professional football.

“I know how much people care about the future of Coventry City and they want to see the stadium put to good use and they want to see their local football team succeed as well.

“I'm just about old enough to remember the great days of Cyrille Regis and hopefully those days will come again.”
