Danny Pugh Moves To Port Vale

Former Coventry City defender Danny Pugh has joined Port Vale.

Pugh only joined Blackpool in pre-season and went onto make 23 appearances for the Bloomfield Road club.

A former team mate at Leeds United in Michael Brown is in temporary charge of Port Vale and Pugh has joined him for the rest of the season.

Former City loanee Chris McGuire converted a 53rd minute penalty to help Oxford United beat Bradford City 2-1 and book their place in the EFL Trophy Semi-Final.

Former City youngster Courtney Baker-Richardson hit the winner to send Leamington into the Birmingham Senior Cup Quarter-Finals following a 2-1 win over Stratford Town who knocked Coventry City out of the competition.

Former City winger Liam Davis scored an own goal on his debut for Cheltenham Town in a 3-2 defeat at Luton Town.
