Former Coventry City defender Danny Pugh has joined Blackpool.
Pugh, who spent most of his time at the Ricoh Arena injured, was released by Bury FC in the summer after making 48 appearances.
The 33 year old who has signed a one year deal with the option of another year, told Blackpool's club website: I'd spoken to the manager a couple of times on the phone and I was keen to meet up with the lads and get a couple of games and a couple of training sessions in. I'm delighted to finally sign.
"It's quite a young team but there seems to be a good mix. I've got a little bit of experience, I'm maybe older than a few of the lads so hopefully I can bring something to the team. There's a lot to achieve here, promotion being the main one."
