Leeds United are through to the League One Play-off Final. Goals in the tenth and 90th minute by Jon Howlson gave Gary McAllister's side a 2-0 win at Carlisle and a 3-2 aggregate victory. Gordon Strachan was amongst the many paying tributes to Tommy Burns who lost his battle to cancer. The former City and player manager had given Burns a coaching job at Celtic and said: "No disrespect to football, but being Tommy's mate is the best part of coming to Celtic.
"He will be judged, not as a footballer - and there weren't many better than him - but as a person. He's top of the league when it comes to being a man."

"If I didn't have him I would have gone off my head. He kept me sane at times. "He has been part of my life every day for three years. That's why I am taking it rather hard at the moment."
