Daniels Still In Pressley's Plans

Coventry City midfielder Billy Daniels has said that he is still in Steven Pressley's plans despite being loaned out to Cheltenham Town.

Daniels said to the Gloucestershire Echo: “Last season I had a week training at Cheltenham and the manager gave me some great feedback.

“Coventry then said they wanted to keep me, so we couldn’t negotiate anything in terms of a move.

“I’ve had a long chat with my manager and he said my future is still secure and I’m in his plans.

“But I asked to go out and get some more game time and experience and Cheltenham came up so it’s great for me.

“I have to get to know the players more, but they have all made me very welcome. “We had a session Friday and you notice certain things straight away.

“Mainly it was just good to get out there, enjoy my football and get 90 minutes under my belt.

“My legs were a bit tired at the end as I’ve not played much, but it was great to start with a win and hopefully we can get a few more and climb up the table.”
