Curtail Your Goal Celebrations City Players Told

Coventry City players have been told by the club's coaches to lessen their goal celebrations.

The coaches felt that the raucous celebrations after Richard Wood's goal at Ipswich led to the players not being switched on when they conceded a match winner, twelve seconds later and have designated a player who will keep the players switched on.

"The coaches have spoken about it and they don't want us to celebrate and I am the one to make sure everyone is switched on and organised and ready for the kick-off to make sure it never happens again," said Richard Wood to the CT.

"We have gone through the DVD and we can't let it happen again and if I am stood at the back I will stay there and make sure we are ready.

"I said what if I score because I am going to be celebrating, so someone needs to be telling me to stay switched on then."
