Coventry City caretaker Andy Thorn was full of praise for Martin Cranie.
The former Portsmouth man played the whole of City's 2-0 win against Watford. at centre half despite suffering from a hamstring strain and earned rave reviews from his caretaker manager.
Speaking to the CT, Thorn said: "Martin was awesome. "He shouldn't really have been available but he pushed himself to make it.
"I don't know many other players who would have got through that game carrying a hamstring but he reads situations so well because he's a really good player, a class act."
