Lincoln City's Danny Cowley has said that the Imps are looking forward to the challenge that Coventry City will bring.

Speaking about a game which take place at a sold out Sincil Bank, Cowley told Lincolnshirelive:

“Coventry are a massive club for this level and there is huge expectations for them to be promoted this season,” said Cowley.

“We’re aware of their strengths. They’ve been very disciplined and are excellent defensively.

“That comes from having really experienced players who have played at higher levels in the Football League.

“But the great thing about this league is that every week it presents different challenges. Without doubt, they will be difficult to create chances and score against, but it’s a challenge we’re looking forward to.

“We’re buoyed by the fact we’ve scored six in our last two games. It’s great to win those games, first and foremost, but to score six is an added bonus.

“Coventry are a big club. One of my first FA Cup memories is watching them beat Tottenham 3-2 in the final Keith Houchen scoring the winner with a diving header.

“All my friends were Spurs supporters so I was delighted!

“They’ve sold out their allocation so credit to them for that.

“It should make for a brilliant atmosphere. Our supporters, in my opinion, have been the best in the division so far and they’ve definitely got their role to play on Saturday.”
