Covsupport Northern Ireland were in action today in the Dromore 5 a sides at Ferris Park in Dromore,Northern Ireland.

Covsupport who were without a number of players fielded a squad comprising of  David Dawson (keeper),Ian McDowell,Ian Weir, Ally Beck, Andrew Bell, Colly Gray and Ryan McCauley who were managed by Stephen Adair.
With the top side from each of the four groups of four sides progressing into the semi-final and then final, Covsupport playing in City's black away kit from last season, won their opening game 4-0 before beating DRFC 3-2 after being three goals ahead.
The final game of the group saw Covsupport beat Banbridge AFC 3-0 with goals from Andy Bell,Ryan McCauley and Ally Beck booking the team's place in the Semi-Finals.
The draw was the one Stephen Adair did not want, Covsupport were pitted against Banbridge Town who fielded four Irish League players. Covsupport took the lead early on with a Andrew Bell strike, and were holding on well until the last few minutes when sloppy balls were given away in defence allowing Banbridge town to score twice with no time for a reply. Ally Beck missed at least 3 good chances to secure the win which just wasn't to be.
"We were extremely unlucky," said Acting Covsupport boss Stephen Adair after the tournament which was won by Banbridge Town who beat Tandragee Rovers 7-0 in the final.

"Nerves seemed to get to some of the younger players in the Semi-Final. "Overall, there was plenty to be pleased with."
