Coventry Will Be Right Up For It - Cork

Southampton's Jack Cork thinks that Coventry City for whom he was once on loan to, will be right up for Saturday's game at a sold out St Marys Stadium.

Speaking to Saints Player, Cork said: "There's no excuses why we shouldn't do it.

"We've been so consistent all season, and we should go out on Saturday and put a good performance in.

"It is a game that a lot of people say we should win, but we've found this season that a lot of games aren't as easy as people say they should be.

"We've just got to go and play like we can at our best to try and get something from it.

"I was at Coventry for three months on a loan spell, so I saw a few of the players and how good they were. "It's unfortunate for them to be relegated because they are a massive club.

"When you are relegated and you are playing your last game of the season, you don't want to give up and turn over.

"They are going to be right up for it and trying to impress for the next season - if people want to move then it's going to be a chance for them to put in a good performance.

"It's a big club and it's a shame that they've gone down, but I'm sure that with the set-up that they've got they will be able to get themselves back up.

"It's not going to be an easy game, so we're going to have to get at them."
