Hartlepool United manager Colin Cooper has said that his side are in for a tough tie when they take on Coventry City in an FA Cup Second Round tie on Saturday December 7th.

Cooper, whose side were made to look exceedingly average during their 2-0 defeat at Newport County last Friday night, told the Hartlepool Mail:  “I would suggest Coventry are one of the form sides in the country, especially with them starting on minus 10 points.

“It will be tough. Steven Pressley has a team that is playing well, that don’t concede many and are scoring goals.

“They are flying at the moment but we don’t have anything to fear in our league or the league above.

“We can play and give teams from either league a game.

“We have a few games before the FA Cup and lets look at Northampton, Bury and Portsmouth before worrying about that.”
