Coventry in Top Ten Banning Orders

Figures released last month show that Coventry City are in the Banning Orders Top Ten.

According to the NCIS figures for October 2008, Coventry had 79 fans banned from attending football matches in England and Wales.

Leeds with a 152 are the worst offenders.

The top ten is
Leeds 152, Cardiff 136, Millwall 117, Portmouth 91, Wolves 85, Aston Villa 82, Coventry 79, Manchester United 78, Chelsea 78 and Birmingham 76.

The figures represent a minute fraction of those who attend matches and trouble at grounds is a rarity.
