Coventry get Leicester in season opener

In an explosive start to the new season Coventry City will play  Leicester City at The Ricoh in their first game of the new season on August 6th in what will surely be a game to stir the emotions of both sets of fans.

The following Saturday, August 13th Coventry travel the short distance to Birmingham City to take on the side that was seen to steal Coventry striker Marlon King.

Tuesday 16th will see Coventry travel to Crystal Palace for the first midweek evening league fixture of the season and on the following Saturday City will entertain Watford.

City travel to Middlesbrough for their final fixture in August on Saturday 27th.

Coventry City's last game of the season will be at recently promoted Southampton on Saturday April 28th or Sunday April 29th depending on the whims of television.

City's final five games will be against Bristol City (away), Burnley (away), Millwall (home) Doncaster (home) and Southampton (away).

All dates are provisional and could change depending on television schedules and weather.
