Coventry City will be supporting England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup on Saturday.

City will be wearing the white kit for the game against Sheffield Wednesday and will have the bid logo on the back of their shirts as will the visitors.

Nathan Kosky, City's Commercial Director told the club website: "We spoke to England 2018 about the idea of having the World Cup bid logo on the shirts and they were very enthusiastic about it.

"To get the World Cup back in England would be fantastic for everyone involved in football. Once Sheffield Wednesday heard we were doing this, they also decided to follow suit, so it should be a patriotic occasion."

There are less than 500 shirts now available from the club shop at the ground.
