Kick off is scheduled for 7:45 pm. New signing, Sammy Clingan is expected to make his debut for the Sky Blues.

David Bell is definitely out, he is suspected of having swine flu and has been told to stay at home.

 Ward and Hall are both out of contention because of injuries.

Greetings from Dunfermline. Former Sky Blues Kevin Drinkell, Ian Wallace and Roy Barry are in the crowd tonight at Den Park for this friendly fixture.

They were drinking with some of the 'City fans in the bar at the ground.

About 120 'City fans are in the right of the stand, which is the only stand open.
'City are wearing their home kit. Westwood was down to start, but Konstantopolous will now start instead.

1 minute. McDougall, on the right, crosses for Cardle to hit the Ball from 8 yards straight at Konstantopolous.

'City with Cain on the right wing, Clingan and Gunnarsson in the middle and Doyle on the left are passing the ball well.

8 minutes. Lovely ball from Clingan with his right foot picks out Gunnarsson, who gives it to Cain, but the ball is cleared for a throw in. Poor throw and 'City loses possession.

9 minutes. Morrison picks out Doyle on the left. he races toward the goal but fires across the face of the goal.

13 minutes.Great ball by Eastwood, picks out Morrison who goes to the left of the area. The Dunfermline 'keeper comes out and Morrison hits it straight at him.

15 minute. Good run down the left by Eastwood who fires across the goal.

18 Minutes. Morrison has two shots from the edge of the area, both are blocked.

27 minutes. and it remains goalless.

'City are still attacking the Norrie McCathie stand, which is empty, like the three other stands. 'City are having the better of the midfield tussle this game has become.

34 minutes. Joe Cardle fires over in a rare shot for the Pars.

35 minutes. Ball comes over from the left and Nick Phinn stabs just wide of the far post.

38 minutes. GOAL.
A throw in from the right finds Greg Ross, he crosses to Andy Kirk on the edge of the six yard box. Everyone thinks he is off side but his foot is just past Konstantopolous, so the goal is allowed to stand.

HALF TIME: Dunfermline 1 Coventry City 0

46 minutes. Best comes on for Morrison.

49 minutes. Trip by Higgins on Best on the edge of the area. Clingan swung the ball in for Eastwood, who headed over.

51 minutes. Cain crosses to Best on the edge of the area. Best thumps  a shot which rattles the centre of the crossbar.

52 minutes. Best tries to lob the 'keeper, but does not get enough power on it.

The sun is disappearing behind the single tier stand as Eastwood and Grandison have  shots blocked in the 54th minute.
Come on 'City is the cry from one of our Scottish based supporters.

56 minutes. Best has a shot from 25 yards which is deflected out for a corner.

57 minutes. Grandison is replaced by Osbourne and Clarke is replaced by Walker.

66 minutes. Dunfermline make a triple change, making a total of five substitutions.

Wright clears a blocked shot from Steve McDougall.

71 minutes. Neil McGreggor heads wide from a free kick but the ball is up the end quickly and best wins a corner.
The corner comes in and a bicyle kick by Wright 13 yards out, goes well wide.

75 minutes. 'City win another corner. Osbourne finds eastwood who sets up Clingan, but he fires over the bar. That is the end of Clingan's contribution, he is replaced by Shaun Jeffers.

80 minutes. With just ten minutes remaining, 'City don't look like scoring.

The official attendance is 1162.

82 minutes. A cross from the left is stopped by Konstantopolous.

83 minutes. A Cain cross finds Best whose header goes wide.

86 minutes. McPake is brought crashing to the  ground and needs a stretcher. One is called for and the Scot is caried off. The match is delayed for three minutes and 'City have no replacements left on the bench.
