Coventry born James Collins has re-joined Shrewsbury Town.

Collins, who was one of three players sold by City Academy to Aston Villa, had two seasons at Shrewsbury before joining Swindon Town and for last season, Scottish Premier League side Hibernian after joining for a fee of around £200,000.

Collins scored six goals in all competitions for Terry Butcher's side who were relegated to the Championship following a penalties loss in the play-off against Hamilton.

Shrewsbury are refusing to say if any fee was involved but have said that Collins has signed a two year deal with them.
